Certifying a Unique Multi-Market Game for Playbook Fusion

When Playbook Fusion approached us, they were preparing to launch a new game, Playbook Football™, across a wide range of regulated markets. They were already working with a major global distribution partner and beginning to form a pipeline of operator partnerships. Certification was the next essential step and they needed an independent laboratory to carry out testing and issue reports across jurisdictions.

Understanding the Challenge

With the product being something entirely new for the market, this meant our team needed to pay close attention to both the data and front-end aspects during the certification process.

At the start of the engagement, there was no fixed deadline. However, as Playbook Fusion advanced their commercial plans, timelines became more defined with operator launch dates depending on regulatory approval in specific markets. It was important for us to adjust and prioritise accordingly, while staying true to our processes that are driven by quality and speed.

Our Approach

We provided RNG and game certification for the following jurisdictions:

Great Britain, Brazil, Malta, Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Ontario (Canada), Peru, Spain, Buenos Aires City (Argentina), Buenos Aires Province (Argentina), Colombia, Denmark, Georgia, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Republic of Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Romania.

Throughout the engagement, we held regular technical calls with the client to clarify requirements across jurisdictions. Each market had its own set of requirements, and given the distinct nature of the product, we took the time to outline exactly how compliance needed to be demonstrated.

Any feedback we provided remained fully aligned with our role as an impartial laboratory. Our responsibility was to assess, report, and communicate clearly enabling the client to make the necessary updates on their end.

The Outcome

Playbook Fusion expressed that they were happy with their decision to work with us and felt confident in the way the process was handled. During one stage of the project, an issue with a report was identified. We acknowledged this internally and addressed it swiftly, which the client appreciated.

The game has since been successfully certified across all target markets, supporting Playbook Fusion’s broader expansion plans.

Continuing the Relationship

Following the initial phase, Playbook Fusion returned to us to begin certification updates. This time to include RTP ranges required in certain jurisdictions. The next submission is already underway.
