Meet Tyrone Rajah, Head of Data.
Tyrone, eCOGRA’s enigmatic Head of Data, is renowned for his meticulous analysis in ensuring fair and transparent online gaming standards.
- How long have you been with the company?
I have been with eCOGRA since March 2020, 4 years and counting.
- How has your role evolved over time since you’ve been here?
I was originally employed by eCOGRA as a Data Team Leader and I was recently promoted to the Head of Data. Gaming continuously evolves to bring better player experiences, which in turns creates new challenges in ensuring compliance and fair play. This creates an atmosphere where no two days are the same and I am privileged to be a part of this industry.
- What do you like most about the work we do here?
Working in this industry, I am often asked if casino games are really fair or if they are unfairly manipulated. From my perspective, the most satisfying aspect of what we do is validating that a game is operating at random and is fair for the player.
- What are your goals for the next year?
Professionally, I would like to ensure that I am adding value to eCOGRA and continue to acquire industry related knowledge. As the industry is always evolving it is important to stay up to date with all the new and exciting developments.
Personally, I would to like to live a healthier lifestyle and spend more time with my family.
- What is the one thing that our clients don’t know about you that they would be surprised if they found out?
I have a keen interest in poker and one day hope to make it to the world series of poker.
- When you were 5 years old what did you want to be when you grew up?
I honestly cannot remember that far back, but if I were to guess, I wanted to be a superhero…probably Gambit from X-Men.
